A legacy IAM audit application was modernized in 55% less time using AI-assisted migration with Neurealm’s NeuGAIN. Download the case study to see the phase-by-phase breakdown.
The Customer
The client is a large U.S. healthcare technology company serving hospitals and health systems. Its customer identity audit application handles new customer registrations and change requests, with a reviewer workflow to approve, hold, deny, or delete each submission. The application was built on a monolithic JSP/Servlet stack.
The Challenge
The monolithic architecture had become an unmanageable black box, making every change high-risk and raising the probability of system-wide failure. The fragile codebase blocked new feature development. Manual migration would have been slow and error-prone, likely to overlook mission-critical business logic, and the absence of technical and business documentation meant starting with expensive manual reverse-engineering.
The Neurealm Solution
Neurealm applied AI-assisted modernization across discovery, analysis and planning, technical specification, and engineering and validation, with developers in the loop at every stage. The legacy JSP/Servlet search module was re-architected into a modern frontend and backend stack, with business logic extracted from the existing code and test cases generated as part of the flow.
The result: 55% less time across discovery, migration, configuration, and testing compared to a traditional manual approach, with human review and approval on all AI-generated output.
