With nearly two decades of rich and diverse experience in corporate legal and compliance matters, Swagata serves as the Head of Legal, Compliance, and Company Secretary at Neurealm.

Her expertise spans commercial contracts management and negotiations, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring, corporate laws and compliances, ESOP management, IP management, litigation, and corporate insurance governance. She has led numerous high-stakes transactions and regulatory initiatives, ensuring robust legal and statutory compliance frameworks across global jurisdictions and business functions. She has also served as the liaison officer with regulatory authorities, investors, auditors, legal counsels, advisors, bankers, and other external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and compliance across all entities.

At Neurealm, she plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic business initiatives through legal advisory, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. She is also instrumental in driving corporate governance standards and policy formulation. Known for her calm and focused leadership, especially under high-pressure scenarios, she is a strong advocate for building empowered, high-performing teams.

She holds a Master’s degree in Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and is a qualified Company Secretary from the prestigious Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi. Before joining Neurealm, she worked with T-Systems (Deutsche Telekom AG), where she gained extensive experience in legal matters and corporate secretarial practices.
