Overview
Neurealm built a modern, intuitive GUI application for BLDC motor control that enables system designers and end customers to rapidly prototype and design motor-based systems using a Tier-1 semiconductor company’s boards.
Business Context
A US-based Tier-1 semiconductor company needed to replace its dated motor control GUI with a modern, high-performance tool. The goal was to support a broad range of users from novice to expert, streamline register access and board interaction, integrate scripting support (e.g., Matlab), and make the tool multi-platform and easily extensible for future hardware variants. The existing tool’s complexity and performance issues hindered productivity and time-to-market.
Solutions
Neurealm designed and developed an intuitive, feature-rich UI with auto-board detection, read/write register operations, fault recovery, and Matlab script integration. The solution was built with scalable cross-platform support and a low-code/customization framework that simplifies adding new board variants. This improved usability, performance, and flexibility, accelerating system design and enhancing end-customer experience.
