Business Context
A Tier-1 global OEM of medical diagnostic equipment sought a first-of-its-kind patient pose detection prototype to improve procedure accuracy and automate pose analysis without manual intervention. The solution needed to meet strict latency and resource constraints while ensuring high accuracy and supporting deployment in real clinical scenarios.
Solutions
Neurealm selected and benchmarked imaging sensors, set up an in-house data capture environment, and developed a hybrid pipeline combining deep learning-based keypoint detection, classical machine learning classification, and computer vision measurements. They built a user-centric GUI, calibrated camera positioning with a novel method, and conducted accuracy and latency benchmarking throughout development.
