MS Fabric / Azure Data Engineer

Location : Chennai / Pune

Job Title : MS Fabric Lead  (Exp 7 to 11 Years) 

We are looking for a Senior MS Fabric Leader to lead complex data engineering initiatives, optimize enterprise data solutions, and mentor junior Dev. This role requires advanced technical expertise and the ability to deliver scalable, high-performance data systems.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale data pipelines and models using Microsoft Fabric / Synapse Analytics.

·         Optimize SQL queries, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse performance.

·         Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.

·         Implement data Integrations, data governance, lineage, and security frameworks.

·         Mentor junior dev and provide technical guidance.

·         Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting new tools and practices.

Required Skills & Experience

·         Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics).

·         Basic & Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, query optimization, and performance tuning.

·         Strong experience in data engineering, big data frameworks, and distributed systems.

·         Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Synapse, Databricks, Purview).

·         Proven track record in delivering enterprise-grade data solutions.

·         Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·         CICD – Able to deploy the code using GitHub , Fabric Pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

Batchers degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

Value Added Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Fabric certifications.

Value Added skills  - Power BI, SSIS, SSRS

Technical Skills and Tools

Core: Microsoft Fabric components (Data Engineering, Data Factory integration, Notebooks, OneLake); Spark (PySpark); SQL  Server

Orchestration and Scheduling: ADF pipelines, Fabric pipelines, event-driven triggers.

Value Added Skills and Tool: Databricks experience, Power BI experience , Synapse Analytics experience
