Solution Blueprinting: Design and document end-to-end infrastructure solutions that align with business growth and RunOps efficiency.

Domain Leadership: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and architectural lead for:

Virtualization: VMware (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T) and Citrix (CVAD).

Converged Infrastructure: Nutanix or Dell VXRAIL (HCI).

Data Management: Enterprise Storage (SAN/NAS) and Modern Backup/Recovery (Veeam, Cohesity, or Commvault).

Automation Strategy: Drive "Infrastructure as Code" (IaC) initiatives to automate repetitive operational tasks and provisioning.

Capacity & Lifecycle Management: Develop frameworks for proactive capacity planning and technology refresh cycles to prevent technical debt.

Standardization: Establish and enforce global configuration standards and security hardening baselines across all DC domains.

Escalation Support: Provide Level 4 architectural support for complex, cross-domain performance issues or critical outages.

Technical Requirements

Domain Required Expertise

Virtualization Advanced architecture of VMware SDDC stack and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments.

HCI & Compute Design and implementation of Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (Nutanix/vSAN) and Blade Server technologies.

Storage & Backup Expertise in Tier-1 storage (Pure, NetApp, or Dell EMC) and modern data protection strategies (Immutable backups, Air-gapping).

Data Center Deep understanding of DC facilities, power/cooling requirements, and leaf-spine networking fabric.

Automation Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell for infrastructure orchestration.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 18-20+ years in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in an Architect or Lead Engineering role within a RunOps or Managed Services environment.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps.

Certifications: OS, Storage, VCDX (VMware), CCE-V (Citrix), or expert-level certifications in Storage/HCI are highly preferred.

Collaborative Mindset: Proven track record of working across silos (Network, Security, Apps) to deliver cohesive infrastructure solutions.
