Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to manage our IT delivery teams in adopting and optimizing the Scrum framework. The scrum master will act as a facilitator and coach, ensuring the team remains focused on high-value deliverables while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization. 

Core Responsibilities:

Ceremony Facilitation: Lead and facilitate all Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and eliminate technical and organizational "blockers" that hinder the team's progress.

Product Owner Support: Assist the Product Owner with backlog grooming, prioritization, and ensuring user stories are clearly defined and actionable.

Team Shielding: Protect the development team from external distractions and unmanaged changes to maintain focus on the Sprint Goal.

Agile Coaching: Mentor the team on Agile principles, fostering a mindset of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.

Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, sprint burndown, and cycle time to provide visibility to stakeholders. 

Documentation: Should ensure all deliverables are well-documented and reviewed with client stakeholders

Skills Required:

Skills:

Primary: Scrum Management 

Secondary: Business Analyst 

Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile delivery role.

Should have worked as business analyst, where s/he should have collected requirements, prepared design and worked with development teams for PI/ Sprint planning 

Should have worked as a manual/automation tester for both backend and front-end (UI) functional and performance testing 

Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) is preferred.

Tools: Expert proficiency in Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and "servant leadership" abilities.

Technical Literacy: A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technical terms to effectively empathize with the development team. 

Preferred to have working knowledge of other Agile methodologies like Kanban, Lean, or Extreme Programming (XP).
