About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Backend+ Data Engineer with a strong foundation in distributed data processing andbackend service development.
This hybrid role blends the best of data engineering and backend development,ideal for professionals who enjoy building scalable systems, optimizing datapipelines, and working with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies.

You'll be part of a high-performing teamresponsible for building and maintaining large-scale data platforms and backendservices that power our analytics and application ecosystem.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark (Python/Scala) and Apache Kafka.
• Develop and deploy scalable backend services and APIs using Python
• Work on cloud infrastructure and services on AWS or GCP.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of data and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and production support.

Primary Skills(Must Have):

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and Backend Development
• Proficiency with Apache Spark (using Python or Scala)
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and real-time data processing
• Cloud experience on AWS or GCP
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, data storage formats, and stream/batch processing

Secondary Skills(Nice to Have):

• Backend development experience using Python
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, logging, and monitoring frameworks
