Overview

Neurealm developed platform software, controller firmware, and a scalable system validation framework for an automotive SoC to accelerate board bring-up and streamline production quality checks.

Business Context

A US-based automotive chip startup needed end-to-end software support to enable efficient production of complex boards for its ADAS SoC. Manual board bring-up and disparate test processes were slowing manufacturing throughput and causing quality bottlenecks. The client sought vendor-agnostic firmware and an automated validation environment to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and enable data-driven production insights.

Solutions

Neurealm architected modular, controller-agnostic firmware with generic APIs and flexible boot-loader update paths. They built a reusable automated test framework that consolidated QA tests across hardware teams and integrated OpenOCD-based JTAG debug support for parallel multi-SoC validation. This approach reduced manual testing, supported scalable production validation, and improved manufacturing churn significantly.
