A multinational semiconductor and software design company in Europe partnered with Neurealm to accelerate development of an R&D multimedia System-on-Chip (SoC) targeting gaming, camera, web, and video conferencing workloads. The engagement demanded deep multicore processor design knowledge, performance optimization, and comprehensive verification of complex subsystems to meet high throughput and reliability goals.

Solutions

Neurealm executed subsystem verification including power analysis of an 8-core Armv9.2-A cluster and Cortex-M cores, owned verification of interrupts, memory mapping, and configuration registers, and applied formal methods for clock/reset, GIC, CPU, and GPU validation. They also led RGM IP development, optimized RTL via restructuring, integrated physical RAM for TSMC technology, and verified replaced tech cells using logic equivalence checking.
