Job Title: Architect – MS Fabric / Azure SQL Data Engineer (Exp. 11 to 17 Years)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineering Architect specializing in Microsoft Fabric and SQL to define the overall data architecture strategy, ensure scalability, and drive innovation in enterprise data platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to align architecture with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise data architecture : Define and implement enterprise data architecture leveraging Microsoft Fabric and SQL technologies.
Data Modernization : Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions across multiple domains.
Data Engineering : Establish data engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Project Execution : Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives.
Research Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
End to End Project Guidance : Oversee integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
Mentoring : Guide teams in implementing data governance, lineage, and cataloging.
Leadership : Provide architectural leadership in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
POC / COE Work: Work with company Data COE / Practice for new Project solutions / Proposals
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics).
Strong background in SQL Server, database design, and optimization.
Data Governance in Using Native Fabric features or Purview setup
Expertise in data engineering, big data frameworks, and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Purview).
Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Proven track record in architecting enterprise-scale data platforms.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Technical Skills and Tools
Core: Azure Data Factory; Microsoft Fabric components (Data Engineering, Data Factory integration, Notebooks, OneLake); Spark (PySpark/Scala); SQL Server
Orchestration and Scheduling: ADF pipelines, Fabric pipelines, event-driven triggers.
CI/CD and Automation: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Value Added Skills and Tool: Azure Monitor , Databricks experience; Power BI , Data Quality Great Expectations , Purview
Preferred Qualifications
Batchers / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
Value Added Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Fabric certifications.
