Job Title : Lead Microsoft Fabric / Azure SQL (Exp. 7 to 11 Years)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead MS Fabric / SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and SQL technologies. This role involves leading development teams, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the design and development of data models, pipelines, and reports using Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
· Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for performance and scalability.
· Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.
· Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
· Work closely with BI teams to integrate Power BI with Fabric datasets.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues across environments.
· Knowledge of Data migrations & data modernization (On-Prem to Cloud technologies)
Required Skills & Experience
· Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics).
· Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
· Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration.
· Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake, normalized models).
· Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks).
· Proven leadership experience in managing development teams.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Technical Skills and Tools
Core: Azure Data Factory; Microsoft Fabric components (Data Engineering, Data Factory integration, Notebooks, OneLake); Spark (PySpark/Scala); SQL Server
Orchestration and Scheduling: ADF pipelines, Fabric pipelines, event-driven triggers.
CI/CD and Automation: Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Value Added Skills and Tool: Azure Monitor , Databricks experience; Power BI , Purview
Preferred Qualifications
Batchers / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
Value Added Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Fabric certifications.
