Key Responsibilities
Monitor airline applications and infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
Provide first-level support for application-related incidents, escalating issues when required.
Perform routine health checks and assist in deployment or maintenance activities.
Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions; contribute to knowledge base and runbooks.
Support senior engineers with data analysis and reporting to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders during outages, planned downtimes, and system enhancements.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in IT operations, application support, or monitoring.
Familiarity with application monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL), networking, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts (24/7 support environment).
Preferred Skills
Exposure to airline domain applications (passenger services, crew management, flight operations).
Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving operational needs.
