### **Position Summary**
As a .NET Developer at Frontier Airlines, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the high-performance applications that power "America’s Greenest Airline." You will work within our IT Pillars to deliver scalable, cloud-first solutions—from passenger-facing web services to mission-critical flight operations tools. Following our core principle of **"Simplicity to Drive User Uptake,"** you will ensure our technology is robust, efficient, and easy for our Team Members and customers to use.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Full-Stack Development:** Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using **C#**, **ASP.NET Core**, and modern front-end frameworks.
* **Cloud Infrastructure:** Build and deploy cloud-native components within **Microsoft Azure** (App Services, Functions, Azure SQL).
* **API & Integration:** Support our **NDC (New Distribution Capability)** initiatives by developing and consuming RESTful APIs to streamline passenger booking and ancillary services.
* **Agile Delivery:** Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprints, Stand-ups, Retrospectives) within the **PMO framework** to ensure timely project delivery.
* **Optimization:** Analyze and refactor code to reduce latency and improve the performance of high-traffic airline systems.
* **Security & Compliance:** Adhere to **FAA regulations** and Cybersecurity standards to protect sensitive passenger and operational data.
### **Required Qualifications & Skills**
* **Experience:** 5+ years of professional experience in software development using the **Microsoft Technology Stack**.
* **Technical Proficiency:**
* Strong mastery of **C#**, **.NET 6/8**, and **ASP.NET MVC/Web API**.
* Experience with **Entity Framework Core** and **SQL Server**.
* Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React or Angular preferred).
* **Tools:** Proficiency with **Visual Studio**, **Git/GitHub**, and **Azure DevOps** for CI/CD pipelines.
* **Mindset:** A commitment to the "KISS" (Keep It Simple) philosophy—creating elegant, maintainable solutions rather than over-engineered ones.
### **Preferred Skills**
* **Aviation Experience:** Prior experience with airline reservation systems, flight ops software, or IATA standards (NDC/XML).
* **Modern Architecture:** Experience with Microservices, Docker containers, or Kubernetes.
