Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive NOC Monitoring Engineer to monitor and maintain the health of IT infrastructure components including network, servers, databases, and storage systems. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Infra Monitoring tools and AIops concepts to help ensure high availability and performance of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 24x7 infrastructure monitoring. 

• Knowledge on tools such as Zabbix, WUG, Nagios, SolarWinds, or equivalent.

• Track and respond to alerts related to network, server, database, and storage health and performance.

• Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate issues as per defined SOPs.

• Maintain and update incident and ticket logs accurately.

• Collaborate with the L2/L3 support teams for timely resolution of issues.

• Ensure all alerts are properly analyzed, documented, and reported.

• Support AIops-based monitoring initiatives by tagging events, identifying patterns, and assisting in anomaly detection.

• Participate in shift operations, ensuring seamless handover and service continuity.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of network components (routers, switches, firewalls).

• Familiarity with server administration (Windows/Linux).

• Awareness of database basics (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and storage fundamentals.

• Understanding of Infra Monitoring concepts and tools.

• Basic exposure to AIops and automation in monitoring.

• Good analytical and communication skills.
