Benefits Consultant Responsibilities:

 Administrate COBRA, LOAs, Family and Medical Leave rule usage and other issues as

required by the team.

 Must able to handle Qualified status change enrolment and query

 Past experience in open enrolment is plus

 Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision,

life insurance & AD&D, 401(k)

 Assist employee with enrolling in medical, dental and vision insurance plans,

handling qualified life event (QLE)

 Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators.

 Assisting with PPACA admirative activities.

 Monitoring benefits plan & costs to assist in budgeting and planning for upcoming

years.

 Looking after open Enrolment, New Hire Enrolment, Work Event Enrolment

activities, including communications.

 Create and maintain employee benefit plan documentation/ Standard Operating

Procedure (SOP) & update it as & when required.

 Handle employee queries and issues promptly and explain the benefits program to

them when required.


Required Skills :

 Working knowledge of US Benefits & Benefit platforms.

 Familiarity with benefits laws and compliance standards (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)

 Experience with benefits administration platforms (e.g., Workday, Dayforce, Kronos)
