Benefits Consultant Responsibilities:
Administrate COBRA, LOAs, Family and Medical Leave rule usage and other issues as
required by the team.
Must able to handle Qualified status change enrolment and query
Past experience in open enrolment is plus
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision,
life insurance & AD&D, 401(k)
Assist employee with enrolling in medical, dental and vision insurance plans,
handling qualified life event (QLE)
Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators.
Assisting with PPACA admirative activities.
Monitoring benefits plan & costs to assist in budgeting and planning for upcoming
years.
Looking after open Enrolment, New Hire Enrolment, Work Event Enrolment
activities, including communications.
Create and maintain employee benefit plan documentation/ Standard Operating
Procedure (SOP) & update it as & when required.
Handle employee queries and issues promptly and explain the benefits program to
them when required.
Required Skills :
Working knowledge of US Benefits & Benefit platforms.
Familiarity with benefits laws and compliance standards (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
Experience with benefits administration platforms (e.g., Workday, Dayforce, Kronos)
