Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced SSRS and Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. This role focuses primarily on designing and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), with additional responsibilities in creating interactive dashboards in Power BI. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, a deep understanding of reporting workflows, and a basic-to-intermediate knowledge of Power BI for visualization needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports based on business requirements.
• Write optimized T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting.
• Manage report subscriptions, schedules, and delivery mechanisms in SSRS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather report specifications and ensure accuracy.
• Create Power BI reports and dashboards as needed, leveraging Power Query and DAX.
• Support data validation, report testing, and documentation of report logic and sources.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability in reporting solutions.
• Assist in transitioning or converting some SSRS reports to Power BI over time.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to reporting tools and data integrity.

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including writing complex T-SQL queries.
• Experience in designing parameterized, drill-through, and paginated SSRS reports.
• Exposure to Power BI development (basic data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
• Understanding of report optimization and performance tuning.
