Data Extraction from JDE:

Identify and access relevant data tables in JD Edwards.

Understand JDE database schema and data structures.

Write SQL queries or use JDE tools to extract data as required.

Data Transformation:

Format and cleanse extracted data.

Convert the data into Oracle-compatible file formats (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON).

Apply any business rules or mappings necessary for Oracle ingestion.

Data Loading Coordination:

Coordinate with the Oracle technical team to ensure data files meet the expected format and structure.

Support in test loads and troubleshoot issues related to data formatting or compatibility.

Documentation & Communication:

Document the extraction process and mappings.

Provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

Collaborate with onshore teams and follow agile or project-specific methodologies.

SkillDescription

JD Edwards (JDE) -Strong understanding of JDE modules and database tables (Finance, Procurement, etc.)

SQL - Expertise in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases

Data Transformation Tool - Familiarity with Excel, Python, or ETL tools to clean and transform data

File Format Knowledge - Ability to generate and validate CSV, XML, or other Oracle-compatible formats

Oracle (basic)- Understanding of Oracle data ingestion requirements or working with Oracle teams

Communication Skills -Ability to coordinate remotely, document processes, and communicate effectively with the team

ETL Tools (Nice-to-have)- Knowledge of tools like Informatica, Talend, or ODI would be a plus

Project Tools- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or project management tools (optional)
