Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications and REST APIs.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on web-based platforms.

• Conduct thorough UI testing to ensure optimal user experience and performance.

• Test and validate RESTful APIs for functionality, performance, and security.

• Perform manual testing on hardware-related software (such as WiFi Access Points and networking devices).

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and drive quality from inception through deployment.

• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in a detailed and organized manner.

• Use Linux command-line tools to verify backend processes and analyze logs.

• Query databases to verify application data and perform backend validations.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Manual QA and software testing.

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments (command-line operations, logs analysis).

• Experience in testing REST APIs and validating responses.

• Proven experience in UI Testing and Web Application Testing.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.

• Exposure to testing WiFi/Access Points or related network hardware/software.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience in test cases automation or Python scripting.

• Experience in performance or security testing is a plus.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, etc.).

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
