Job Description

Lenovo Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and technically 

proficient consultantarchitect on VDI platforms such as Omnissa Horizon 

VDI (formerly VMware Horizon), Citrix VDI, and Azure VDI with over 10+

years of experience. This challenging role involves end-to-end 

responsibilities across the design, implementation, migration, and support 

of enterprise-scale VDI solutions. The core responsibilities to engage in 

early-stage assessments and drive technical strategy and execution 

through the full project lifecycle. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) 

VDI technologies on converged, hyperconverged and cloud infrastructure, 

and will also provide deep expertise in troubleshooting, triaging, and 

resolving complex issues in high-availability production environments. 

Ensuring adherence to project timelines and contract deliverables is 

essential for this role. The candidate will be responsible for providing timely 

solutions, updates, and fixes while maintaining a strong focus on customer 

satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with 

virtual infrastructure, a solid understanding of VDI architecture, strong 

analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently 

on complex technical initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

Design scalable and secure VDI environments on on-prem and cloud infrastructure.Analyze existing customer landscape, architecture and recommend solutions roadmap and improvements.

Define golden image strategies, identity integration, and access policies (MFA, Conditional Access).

Deep understanding of underlying on-prem infrastructure and cloud environment to support the VDI environment.

Implement FSLogix for profile management and optimize image performance across platforms.

Experience in VDI migration projects from requirement capturing to planning to execution. Conduct performance baselining prepost-migration and optimize cost and operations.

Monitor the health and performance of VDI infrastructure using native and industry standard tools.Act as L3 escalation point for complex VDI issues.Tune system performance and manage infrastructure capacity planning.

Support pilot users during the transition phase.Create detailed design documents, migration runbooks, testing checklists, and knowledge base articles.

Other Skills:Degree BEB. TechMCA in ITComputer Science Electronics  Communication Electronics or higher. 

10+ years of experience on VDI technologies like Horizon, Azure AVD, Citrix etc.

Relevant cloud and VDI technologies certifications like such VCIXDTM, AZ-140, CCP-V etc.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.  

Candidate should be flexible to work in 24 7 environment
